Elle a pour mission de faire respecter le principe de libre concurrence. Elle a repris les anciennes attributions du \u00ab Conseil de la concurrence \u00bb et s\u2019est vu octroyer de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Si l&rsquo;Autorit\u00e9 de la concurrence juge conjointement avec la Commission europ\u00e9enne, les affaires de pratiques anti-concurrentielle, elle est en\u00a0particulier aujourd\u2019hui <strong>charg\u00e9e de contr\u00f4ler les op\u00e9rations de concentration,\u00a0<\/strong>ce qui \u00e9tait autrefois de la comp\u00e9tence du Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00e9conomie.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Elle peut de sa propre initiative ou sur demande d\u2019une personne morale repr\u00e9sentant les int\u00e9r\u00eats collectifs <strong>\u00e9mettre des avis et des recommandations<\/strong><\/span>.
